Visual inspection:
The components manufactured by FAF are monitored in production
round the clock by the team in our measuring room. Once a component
has been released for production, it is subjected to random inspection
and quality tests in all stages of production. And before it leaves
our premises it has to pass a final quality test. The frequency
of the tests (dimensional accuracy, optical requirements etc.)
is specified in a test plan, and the performance of the tests
is verified by a quality auditor.
Sample inspection:
After sample inspection in production, all new parts are subjected
to tests in the measuring room where they check specified requirements
and record their findings in a sample inspection report (company-own,
customer templates or on basis of VDA-forms). Approved samples
and sample inspection reports are passed on to the customer for
review and approval. In special cases it is possible to ask certified
measurement specialists for assistance.
Miscellaneous:
At request we perform SPC-tests and make IMDS-entries available.
Practically all our products fulfil the requirements in EG directive
2002/95/EG (RoHS). After detailed tests we can also issue certificates
for your products.
Measuring devices:
Our measuring room is equipped with a manually operated and a
CNC controlled coordinate measuring machine plus a wide range
of conventional measuring devices.
